Measuring 7,000 yards from the championship tees, the course tempts
golfers with 25 acres of lakes and meandering Timber Creek; water is
evident throughout the back nine. Cato-Crenshaw Bent Grass greens and
419 Bermuda grass fairways are, of course, the preferred locations of
choice on the Bridlewood
course. Grass swales, mounds, hollows, and bunkers are alternatives to
tee, fairway and green -- aside from wood and water. "There isn't a

Created
by acclaimed architect Tripp Davis, the Scottish themed Tribute
Golf Club on the shores of Lake Lewisville pays magnificent
homage to the birthplace of golf and its rich traditions. The Club's
spectacular par-72, 6,972 yard links-style course was designed with the

Andrews, Muirfield, Troon and Prestwick. For those players fortunate

Old American Golf Club began with the natural beauty of a prime
landscape along the shores of Lake Lewisville. In keeping with
the authenticity of the land, Davis and Leonard crafted a course design
that is representative of classic American Golf. From naturally formed
bunkers and native grasses, to strategically designed holes that
leverage varying wind conditions, the architects endeavored to create a
course with exquisite balance.
The Old
American takes
you back in time, allowing you to focus on the fundamental elements of
enjoying a round. With the touch of a button, the advanced GPS system
links you to everything you desire. The Old American provides a
complementary snack cooler on your cart and several refreshment
stations along the course filled with snacks and beverages to recharge

Texas
Rangers Golf Club is the closest 18-hole golf course to Arlington’s
Entertainment District, offering a chance to play golf in conjunction
with a visit to a Dallas Cowboys or Texas Rangers Game, TexasLive!, or
the numerous other events at AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Park, UTA or
downtown Arlington.
A $24 million project, Texas Rangers Golf Club involved a total
renovation and updated routing of the existing golf course with
improved turf grasses and additional water features. A new
33,871-square-foot clubhouse, set to open in 2020, will feature a
full-service restaurant and bar, covered patio overlooking the golf
course, pro shop, locker rooms, and numerous rental and event spaces.
In the interim, the golf club will operate out of a temporary clubhouse
that includes a fully-stocked golf shop, small food & beverage
operation, and restrooms.
The club’s 23-acre practice area includes a double-ended range, a
practice hole and two short game areas – one with four greens and the
other with one green.
“One of the primary reasons for rerouting the course was to take
advantage of the 55 feet of elevation change the site has to offer,”
said John Colligan. “The clubhouse is located upon the promontory of
the property with great vistas to the northeast overlooking the course
and out across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The first tee sits some
45 feet above the lowest spot on the fairway."
The fairways are broad and playable, and the greens are large and
golfer friendly. The overall scale of the course is ‘Texas Big’, and
the 111,000 square feet of sand bunkers frame each hole nicely.
