The course is a mixture of
architectural styles that is dictated by the natural land contours. The
designer of the facility is George Williams. The golf course was
complete in September 1999. Extensive renovations were completed by
Land Constructors in 2005-2007.
The golf course is one of the most difficult golf courses in Dallas
from the Tournament Tees. The forward tees are much more popular and
enjoyable for the average golfer. Coyote Ridge is a beautifully
designed golf course with beautiful elevation changes throughout the
course and superb conditions. The front nine is an open links-style
routing that provides challenges through water hazards bordering 6 of 9
holes and 34 bunkers dotting intermittently from tee to green. The golf
course recently received an additional 1000+ trees to increase the
beauty and strategic challenge. The back nine is place within the
confines of an abandoned quarry abandoned nearly 30 years ago. This
unique landscape leads to elevated tee shots and strategic placement of
irons played to elevated greens. Come experience the New Coyote Ridge.
